Senior Operations Manager (OM)

Questions & answers with: Morgan

How do you start your day as an OM at Action Behavior?

My favorite part of the day is welcoming the kids in the morning. I get here bright and early to unlock the doors. Sometimes, we have immediate morning meetings that I'll attend, but truly, the best part of the day is greeting the kids and seeing how excited they are to come in.

Which core value represents your leadership style?

I’m going to have to go with “Caring.” Our center culture shows how excited people are to come to work knowing that they're taken care of. It’s the little things, like making breakfast or helping take their kid back if they've got some admin tasks to finish up.

What is your long-term vision for yourself at Action Behavior?

My long-term vision for myself at ABC is to move on to the next step, which is a Group Operations Manager. In this role, I would help multiple clinics. I've been at this center since I started here, and we've grown to capacity. I love it so much here, but I would love to help other centers reach that point as well.

What is your advice for a new operations leader at Action Behavior?

Embrace the culture! It is so different from the majority of other companies. You know, you come from a corporate role, corporate America, where you dress up every day in heels and suits. Not here. You really just have to embrace it. If you're setting that expectation and example for your team, it truly translates to the culture you create at your center.
