Refer a patient
At Action Behavior, partnering with community healthcare professionals is central to our mission of making high-quality autism therapy accessible to every child who needs it.
Empowering families. Supporting providers.
Center-based therapy
In this playful and interactive setting, children can accomplish their goals and learn communication skills alongside their peers in a school-like environment.
ABC at Home
ABC at Home provides play-based learning in a home setting. Children work 1:1 with a clinician who teaches them how to apply what they're learning to real-life situations.
ABC Academy
ABC Academy provides part-time or full-time ABA therapy for school-age children with autism. This program is designed specifically for children ages 6–12.
Experience the Action Behavior Difference
We provide diagnostic evaluations and applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy for children with autism ages 18 months and older. Here is why you should refer your patient to us:
Diagnostic support services
We offer no-cost diagnostic tools and online screenings to help your child access the care they need to learn and grow.
We accept most major insurance
We work with most major insurance plans, and our insurance specialists handle all the paperwork for your patients and their families.
Low clinician-to-child ratios
We maintain a low ratio of one Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to every eight children. Your patients can benefit from 1:1 attention and personalized care plans tailored to their needs and family goals.
No wait lists or cancellations
Whether your patient needs help with getting an autism diagnosis or is ready to start ABA therapy now, we are here to help. And unless there’s an emergency, we will never cancel therapy.
Referrals are as easy as ABC
The most important step when making a referral is knowing that your patient and their family are in good hands. At Action Behavior, we understand our responsibility to provide that level of care and assurance.
Work with a dedicated referral specialist
Contact us to help you securely transfer insurance and medical records for immediate review. When you fill out the provider referral form, you will need the following information:
- Patient demographic information
- Patient health insurance information
- Any diagnostic evaluations the child has received
- Recent exam notes
- A formal diagnosis of any medical or behavioral health conditions
We take it from there
Once you complete the referral form, we will contact your patient’s family directly to learn more about their needs and to schedule them for a tour. We will also contact their insurance company directly to verify their child’s ABA therapy coverage, deductible information, and any out-of-pocket costs they may be responsible for.
Our commitment continues
We promise to keep you updated on your patient’s status, from initial evaluation to continued progress. Our teammates will be available to answer any questions you have and discuss any needed changes to the therapy plan. We value our partnership with you and work hard to ensure good communication and teamwork so that your patient and their family can meet their goals.
