A guide to ABA for parents
At Action Behavior, we understand the hopes and concerns that come with being a parent of a child with autism. Receiving an autism diagnosis can be an emotional experience. You might feel relief, stress, and a realization that life is changing.
Whatever you’re feeling as a parent, our autism therapy professionals are here to guide you through every step of this journey. Your child’s well-being is our top priority, and we are committed to providing a nurturing, supportive environment where they can learn, grow, and thrive.
Our son has made outstanding progress during the last year, he is finally coming out of his shell and engaging in open play with other children. Thank you so much ABC for helping us!
The ABA therapy provided here has been a game changer for my son, who in his own words said "I've learned how to make friends and finally enjoy school." The staff are delightful and knowledgeable, and patiently worked with us as we navigated our own journey through the world of ABA. The staff at ABC gave our family the tools we needed to improve our son's life and ours. It's definitely a team effort and parents need to be willing to put in the investment of learning too, but it's absolutely worth it. We even miss coming here as we had such positive interactions with the staff! Thank you, ABC!

Family guidance
At Action Behavior, we believe that parents and caregivers are essential partners in the success of any ABA therapy program. That’s why Family Guidance is a core aspect of every child’s care plan.
Our biweekly Family Guidance sessions, led by your child’s dedicated BCBA, provide an opportunity to discuss your child’s progress and learn how to apply the strategies used during therapy to everyday life.

No two children with autism are alike, which is why we work closely with you to create a personalized ABA therapy plan that meets your child's unique needs and aligns with your family's values.
Maybe your family prioritizes sharing dinner together every night. Or you want your child to focus on learning skills like cleaning up toys or brushing teeth.
