Steps to enroll in after-school ABA therapy
Enrolling your child in ABC Academy is a step toward a bright future. To qualify, your child must be 6–12 years old and have a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder. Getting started is a straightforward process:
Clinical recommendation
Children can enter ABC Academy directly. However, if a child is already receiving ABA therapy at Action Behavior, their current care team must clinically recommend a transition to ABC Academy. This process is done in close consultation with the ABC Academy clinical team to ensure that it is the most appropriate care setting for your child’s needs.
Family consultation
Parents and caregivers then meet with our dedicated ABC Academy care team to discuss their child's needs and learn more about after-school ABA therapy.
Begin ABC Academy
Our expert team helps your child transition smoothly into ABC Academy. We make every effort to help them feel comfortable and welcome.
To make sure your child has the best outcomes, it's important that families who join ABC Academy are committed to following the clinically recommended weekly schedule. We require a one-year commitment to the program, as long as ABA therapy is considered appropriate for their needs.
Insurance coverage
For existing Action Behavior families, your child’s current insurance authorization will transfer seamlessly to ABC Academy. No additional paperwork is required for insurance approvals. Clinical authorizations will be re-evaluated every six months to ensure continued support.
